Nigerian security forces rescue 30 persons kidnapped by gunmen

 The authorities confirmed that Nigerian security forces saved on Monday 30 individuals abducted when praying in a mosque in the north-western region of Zamfara.Gambo Isa, a police spokesperson in Zamfara, says a popular safety mission involving the military, the officers as well as other allies contributed to rescuing the survivors of the abduction.

In an evening worship ritual on the beginning of Monday when the attackers emerged out of Zurumi, a frontier area in Zamfara, Isa told Xinhua that a group of 40 believers were abducted.

"About 10 of us still missing when we did a headcount, but we're not sure whether the bandits were there or fled elsewhere for safety," the Police spokesperson said.The man continued that the kidnapping case had remained in progress.
